INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE:
Before installation, you will need to get a 3/4" wire
clamp and 3
wire connectors from your local hardware or
electric supply or home improvement store.
Minimum tool required: A fine to medium fine philips screw driver
- Turn off
electricity in the house
- Decide where
to place this unit
- Choose the
right side for cord exit and mark on the knockout
coin
- Gently punch
off the knockout
coin marked earlier with a screw driver or other
tool handy
- Unscrew the cover
off
the back of the power strip (4 screws only) with a philips
screw driver
- Install the
3/4"
wire clamp you already have (the big ring screw inside the wall and
the
two pressure screws outside the wall)
- Run the wires
through the wire clamp
- Match the
color of the wires and connect them properly with terminal connectors
- Tighten the wire
clamp properly
- Put the
back
cover on
- Mount the
strip where you want it to be
- Turn
electricity back on, you are ready to go
WARNING:
You must be an electrician
or an
electric engineer to do the installation work.
Note:
* For installation purpose: The length of the power strip does not
include the mounting tabs at both ends; The width does not include the
size of screws; The height does not include the receptacles.
Important:
This unit is not
intended for use in or around wet or potentially wet areas including,
but not limited to, aquariums, saunas, showers and fountains.
